The motor shaft is a core transmission component in electric motors that connects the rotor to the external load, playing a critical role in transmitting mechanical power. It is typically manufactured from 45# steel (GB standard) and involves a multi-step processing sequence: quenching and tempering treatment, rough machining, semi-finishing, high-frequency quenching at the oil seal contact area, and precision machining. The finished shaft is secured to the rotor through an interference fit. Within the motor, the shaft is supported by two bearings (front and rear positions) and is typically equipped with an oil seal at the shaft extension.
